Plugins
All four plugins should work fine in WordPress 2.7 without modification, baring any last minute changes in WP v2.7, which is highly unlikely.
Themes
I have updated all themes to work on WordPress 2.7 and should be backward compatible with v2.5. The most visible feature would have to be the threaded and paged comments. Of course you need to be running on WP v2.7 to use them. View the individual theme’s changelog to see the changes in the latest version.
Remember to backup your theme first before upgrading and report any bugs you found.
For existing premium theme owners, I will be sending out the emails with download links when WordPress v2.7 is officially released.

Hello,
When adding the videoRSS widget to Homepage, the simplepie feeds no longer appear – Just the videoRSS.
Wordpress 2.7
I’ve tried on both a upgraded and a fresh install of 2.7 but unable to duplicate the problem. Can provide more details like the feeds added etc? Would be great if I can have your blog url too.
I’m playing… working on using the theme to sell insurance. The basic design works… but the couch may need to go. Do you have a quick tip on the quick way to change that picture and slide in a new pic?
I’m a novice with 400 sites and this is the first time I’ve tried contacting the “author”.
Thanks again.
Paul Locke
Simply replace pic.jpg in the theme images folder.
Hi, I’ve recently installed OneNews premium on my site http://www.online-marketing-blogs.com and the feeds seem to pull fine, but there is no styling to the page. It’s running on WP 2.7. Any fix would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob
I see that you uploaded the theme files to \themes\onenewspremium\onenewspremium\ folder. They should be in the \themes\onenewspremium\ folder.

Also check that all theme files have permission of 644 and folders have premission of 755.
You may also need to clear out some options. Log in to http://www.online-marketing-blogs.com/wp-admin/options.php and find the 3 options below, clear their values and click “Save Changes”
- simplepie_processing
- simplepie_set_cache_location
- simplepie_template
I’ve done all those things and it still doesn’t seem to work. I’ve completely reinstalled wordpress on the domain to insure that I wasn’t missing anything. There is no preview of the theme when I go to the theme switcher and the stylesheet still doesnt display. Concerned that I paid for a premium theme that doesn’t work out of the box.
OK, I retract that. I changed every file permission except the actual theme folder itself. Site working OK now. Thanks for help and patience.
Is this theme compatible to be used with WordPressMU? I am thinking of using this theme as the home page of our company intranet to pull in and display the feeds from all the departmental blogs that will have been created through WPMU. This theme is just what I have been looking for.
I have not tested it on WPMU but users have reported the OneNews theme to work on WPMU
Can this theme be used at wordpress.com?
These themes are not available at wordpress.com
Thanks for updating all themes for WP 2.7
I am a newbie to wp premium themes. I know for sure that I want to purchase at least three. After purchasing a theme can I download to my pc and play around with it before choosing a host and publishing to the web. I hope my question makes sense. Thank You!
Check out this tutorial on how to run wordpress on your local pc
Genkisan, okay thanks for the info. I purchased the Newspaper, Theme last night downloaded to my PC and followed the tutorial (WordPress@T2) you suggested for running it using XAMPP. Now one question, the intruction says to find and open the file wp-config-sample.php. When I look inside my theme’s files I can’t locate this file. Where is it located. Do I need to create it. I’m missing a crucial step. Please help!
Thnk You
It’s not in the themes directory. It’s in the root directory, the directory above /wp-content/.
As for the buy 1 get 1 free, please contact the theme author.
Thus far under the “wpnewspaper-v1.41″ folder I am able to see the following file folders/files:
“UPLOAD-TO-PLUGINS”, “UPLOAD-TO-ROOT”, “UPLOAD-TO-THEME-ROOT”, “UPLOAD-TO-UPLOADS” and “WpNewspaper Installation Guide.doc”
I cannot locate “wp-config-sample.php” or “/wp-content/”.
Genkisan,
Please disregard my last post. I figured out what I was doing wrong. I needed to install WordPress first from WordPress.org and then install wpnewspaper 1.41 on WordPress. I feel like an idiot:). But thanks again for your timely answers to my questions.
Genkisan
Hello again.
Thanks to you and a couple other resources I have successfully installed XAMPP, WordPress and my Wp-Newspaper theme onto my PC.
One problem though, I cannot preview my theme inside WordPress which also means I am unable to get to the page to activate the theme. The thumbnail is visible along with the other theme thumbnails, but when I click on it, it seems to be loading but never actually does. Any thoughts on what could be wrong
would be appreciated. I am also checking on my own with no luck.
Thanks again
I think you will find more help by posting at the wordpress support forum.
You are right, but I solved the problem. I was using Internet Explorer so I decided to try Firefox and it opened right up.
