On the article “Business-savvy kids turn blogs into e-shopping outlets” [8 Nov 2007], OneShop was featured. Ok.. so it was more like “mentioned”
but hey that little blip still brought a smile to my face.
Portals which consolidate blogshop numbers, like OneShop or emall.sg, showed more than 200 such shopping blogs in Singapore by teenagers, with most started last year.
Alas.. I was still working on version 2.0 and haven’t applied for a domain name so I miss out on the potential free traffic. Gotta bum up my level of activity on OneShop.
On another note, was pretty surprised that Rachelle Yee of Sweetified-Shop is only 11! Where was I when I was 11 years old.. hmm..

I hate to break this news to you but take note that posting of article from SPH is a big no no, the most they will allow you to place it up on the web (site or blog) for no more than 24 hours.
Else you will risk getting a letter from them that you fringe this and that and will ask you to remove it, pay a fee for the investigation … blah blah blah.
How I know? We got it one big one from them when we placed 3 articles at our company site bak2u.com and the blog too and upon digging deeper, a few other local startup companies also got the same thing from them. Really a bummer.
